The Australian Federal Government changed the Chronic Disease Management (CDM) program in 2004 to allow for registered Allied Health practitioners (including Osteopaths) to bill certain CDM items under Medicare.
The Osteopaths at Essendon Osteopath health care are registered to accept referrals for patients with chronic conditions under the CDM program, allowing patients to claim a rebate from Medicare.
